  • Last year, Ken Block and the Hoonigan team teamed up with Audi to build the S1 Hoonitron for the first Electrikhana in Las Vegas.

  • In November of 2022, before his death, Block and Hoonigan brought back the all-electric S1 Hoonitron for the second Electrikhana video, this time in Mexico City.

  • The result is nearly twelve minutes of tire shredding, precision driving, and nostalgia for an icon of the automotive landscape.

Last October, well before the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, Ken Block and Hoonigan took over the Las Vegas Strip for some unadulterated driving fun in the first-ever Electrikhana. They partnered with Audi, which helped to design and build the one-of-one S1 Hoonitron for the film. Following Block's tragic snowmobiling accident in January, the automotive community assumed it was the end of Gymkhana starring Ken.

What fans didn't know is that in November of 2022, the Head Hoonigan in Charge (Block's official title in the company), brought the S1 Hoonitron and the entire camera crew down to Mexico City to film the second Electrikhana film.

According to Hoonigan, the all-wheel-drive dual-motor setup of in the S1 Hoonitron generates roughly 4400 pound-feet of torque. All that torque resulted in the car destroying plenty of tires for the Las Vegas film, and we'd venture a guess that it was no different this time around.

Just like the last time, the new video is nearly 12 minutes of four-wheel launches, reverse entries, and high-speed 360s. But this time, it's more than just tire smoke making our eyes water.
