Infiniti’s design DNA is strong, and the Q50 is immediately recognizable as a member of that pack. It’s a unique look in a businesslike class, but the Q50’s swooping lines and tightly creased sheetmetal aren’t quite as on trend as they were a few years ago.

Most of the cars in this class are closely matched for size, but the Q50 and the Kia Stinger are on the long side. This doesn’t make the Q50 any harder to park or shuttle about town, but we wish the extra length translated into more cargo space or a roomier rear seat.

Exterior Features

The Q50 comes standard with a few useful features, including rain-sensing windshield wipers and automatic headlamps. Automatic high-beams are available in V-6 models and standard in the hybrid model but can’t be had in four-cylinder Q50s.
