The Macan resembles nothing so much as a shortened Panamera on stilts. It’s sleeker and shapelier than many crossovers. Its design places an emphasis on clean, unbroken lines with the right number of curves to keep the eye engaged.
What’s New for 2018?
For 2018, the Macan looks mostly the same. Along with new paint choices for all models, the Macan S now wears Titanium Grey brake calipers rather than silver binders.

Its bug-eye headlights, wide and flat hood, and oblong taillights unmistakably identify the Macan as a Porsche. The three-dimensional taillight design and the small liftgate-release button hidden on the rear windshield wiper (obviating the need for a large handle in the middle of the rear door) are unusual features, but the Macan’s design is otherwise understated.
