Fans disappointed with Kansas State’s final possession in loss to Florida Atlantic
Throughout the NCAA Tournament, the Kansas State men’s basketball team seemed to come up with a big play or shot at just the right time.
But in their 79-76 loss to Florida Atlantic in Saturday night’s Elite Eight game in New York, the Wildcats were unable to conjure up one more big moment.
After the Owls made a pair of free throws, Kansas State had 6.7 seconds to try and tie the game.
Unfortunately for the Wildcats, they couldn’t get in position to attempt a shot, and the game and their season game to an end.

No way that ball should've left Markquis Nowell's hands on that final possession.
