Ferrari originally announced that it would build 499 LaFerraris, but last year, it built a "final" example and sold it at auction, the proceeds going to an Italian earthquake-relief charity. Except, it wasn't the last LaFerrari. That's because Ferrari is building one more LaFerrari, this time an Aperta and auctioning it for a yet-unnamed charity at next month's RM Sotheby's Leggenda E Passione sale.

Pictured above: the LaFerrari Aperta that premiered at last year's Paris Motor Show. Not LaFerrari Aperta #210.

So this car, LaFerrari Aperta #210, will be the real final LaFerrari. Unless, of course, Ferrari decides to build another one for some reason. Who knows? Perhaps, Ferrari could take a page out of Pagani's playbook.

In any case, LaFerrari Aperta #210 hasn't been built yet, but it will be revealed at a Ferrari 70th anniversary celebration on September 9th. Ferrari says it'll be painted in a unique livery, making it unlike any other LaFerrari in existence.

RM Sotheby's estimates that this car will fetch between €3 and €4 million (roughly $3.54 to $4.73 million USD), but considering the last LaFerrari coupe sold for $7 million, it wouldn't be surprising to see Aperta #210 sell for more.

If $7 million or more is too much for you, don't worry - RM Sotheby's has you covered. You could pick up this lovely carbureted 1976 512 BB for around $400,000. Sounds like a bargain to us.
