The F40 is one of the coolest Ferraris on the planet, so it's always sad to see one get wrecked. This incident occurred during a The Kerenzerberg Rennen Hillclimb, an event held last weekend in northeastern Switzerland. Thankfully, the F40 in question doesn't look to be damaged beyond repair.

The video above, published by the Cars and Planes of Switzerland account on YouTube, shows the F40 driving amongst other competitors before skipping to footage of the car's recovery. Though there is no video of the incident, it's clear the car lost control and slid into the crash barrier on the left side of the road. Footage from nearby shows the car beginning to lose control before crashing just out of frame. The sound of the impact is picked up by the camera's microphone clearly:

It's unclear if anyone was injured in the crash. By the looks of it, the F40 was the only car involved in the incident.

Though this F40 looks in bad shape, we're confident it'll be back on the road in no time. Remember that F40 that effectively burned to the ground in Monaco in 2020? Despite the massive damage, it was given a full restoration. In comparison, this F40's smashed front end is light work. With F40 values on the rise, there's no reason not to spend the money to have it fixed.
