From Road & Track

When we first got our hands on it back in 2015, the 949-horsepower Ferrari LaFerrari was the quickest car we'd ever tested. It shot to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and ran the quarter mile in 9.7 on its way to a top speed of 217 mph. It also held 1.16 g around our skidpad and only needed 181 feet to stop from 80 mph.

Clearly, the LaFerrari offers a huge amount of performance right out of the box. But for a few hardcore enthusiasts looking for even more, Ferrari gave the LaFerrari the FXX treatment, turning it into the 1035-horsepower FXX K. Like the original FXX, the FXX Evoluzione, the 599XX, and the 599XX Evoluzione, the FXX K is a track-only race car that Ferrari keeps for the owners.

Earlier this month, the Ferrari Challenge World Championship (or Finali Mondiali) took place at Daytona International Speedway. At the event, a few FXX cars, including the FXX K, were let loose on the steeply banked track.

Ferrari put together a few of the highlights in the video below, and as you can imagine, it sounds incredible. We only wish there wasn't any background music so we could simply enjoy the sound of the screaming V12s.
