A 1988 Ferrari Testarossa which looks absolutely stunning is destined for an upcoming auction. The supercar is starting to create some buzz because it looks incredibly fresh for good reason, only having 1,046 miles on the odometer. You’d be hard-pressed to find another Testarossa as lightly used as this.

Named after some of the most iconic Scuderia Ferrari racecars, some felt the Testarossa didn’t live up to its heritage. However, the attitude towards this 80s supercar has shifted and become more positive among many collectors and enthusiasts in recent times.
Often featured in TV and movie productions back in the day, the Testarossa has a head-turning style which was cooked up by none other than Pininfarina. While many prefer it and other Ferraris in red, this one looks striking in Nero over a beige leather interior.
One of the hallmarks of the Testarossa has been its accessible performance. Unlike many supercars before it, the driver didn’t need experience manhandling racecars or other supercars to master this vehicle. Instead, the flat-12 engine is user-friendly, and the gated 5-speed manual transmission is butter smooth.
Despite being a supercar the average person could get in and adeptly drive immediately, the Testarossa still serves up a potent performance mix. The engine descended from the Ferrari 312 T Grand Prix racing engines, making use of Bosch K-Jetronic electronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder for what was back then mighty, 380-horsepower. In fact, this was the most powerful production sports car, allowing Maranello to continue asserting its dominance off the track as well as on.
Even by today’s standards, the Ferrari Testarossa is no performance slouch.
