FHP seeking possible witness to fatal crash on U.S. 29 in Molino

The Florida Highway Patrol is requesting public assistance locating a possible witness to a fatal vehicle collision in Molino earlier this month.

A 39-year-old Cantonment man was killed June 10 in a single vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 29. The man reportedly lost control of his truck, causing it to overturn multiple times and eject him from the vehicle.

The driver was killed and a 16-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries in the crash, according to the FHP.

In a news release Thursday, the FHP announced it was looking for a possible witness to the incident.

The release stressed, "he is NOT in trouble, we would just like to speak with him about what he observed that day."

The possible witness was driving a dark colored (possibly black) Dodge Ram 4-door pickup truck with what appear to be tinted windows, and possibly a tool box in the bed.

The individual is described as an approximately 6-foot-tall man, weighing approximately 250-300 pounds. He was approximately 40-50 years old with short gray or salt and pepper hair.
