Ford struck the world in 1964 with the introduction of a model that would eventually go on to be their first true masterpiece. That car was the Mustang, available in either notchback or fastback. Millions of performance enthusiasts across the nation have enjoyed the violent punch of a well calibrated throttle backed by a small but fiesty V8 engine. It is for that reason, the Mustang has become one of the most popular and highly sought after cars in the United States. One man had a particularly strong connection to this type of automobile as he grew up around the car culture and bonded with his family primarily over muscle and pony cars.

Nowadays, this enthusiast is ready to take on the incredible task of rebuilding, restoring, and driving an old school muscle car of his own. Having been sitting in a barn for multiple decades, the vehicle in question is a first generation Mustang with a ton of history in it. First of all, they’re not really sure when it last hit the road but the most recent time it was registered was in 1979. That would mean that this car is pretty much new compared to other models that have spent their entire lives driving. So the only question left to answer is what the car looks like after so many years of sitting.

Finally, the bright red Mustang popped its head out of the old barn after ripping parts of the wall away due to blockage of the doors. It’s pretty funny when you think about how there was so much stuff there it made more sense to just dismantle the building partially. Either way, the Mustang rolled out of the storage space showing off its gleaming exterior and bright red interior. Overall, this is a great car with a lot to offer the enthusiast who bought it and soon the Mustang will be back on the open road as the new owner restores it.
