We all knew that Ford CEO Jim Farley was a racer. But did you know he’s a winning racer?

“Late drama, the closest finish in ‘HSR Classics’ history, and a trio of first-time winners brought the Sixth Annual Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) Classic Sebring 12 Hour, Pistons and Props, presented by the Alan Jay Automotive Network, to an exciting and competitive conclusion Sunday at Sebring International Raceway,” wrote series PR guy Adam Saal after the race.

Farley won driving his Cosworth Ford-powered Lola T298 at the event with co-driver Billy Johnson in the HSR race, where he battled a Chevron B26 throughout the majority of his time on the track. The Chevron, driven by Phil Reilly “and Co.,” crashed out late in the event when something on the Chevron broke and Reilly went into the barriers at the course’s Turn 7 chicane. Reilly was uninjured but the contact put him and the Chevron out of contention.
