Ford Offers 2017 F-Series Trucks with STX Style, Comfort, Utility Package

Ford is now offering full-size truck buyers a value-priced STX appearance package for 2017 F-150 and F-Series Super Duty pickups that the automaker says combines style, utility, and comfort extras. The STX package offers personal touches such as special wheels, body-matching or chrome front and rear bumpers, the latest-generation Sync 3 infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, plus unique interior seating features.

It’s the first time that a personalized STX package, which can be ordered right now at Ford retailers, has been made available to F-150 buyers on either the SuperCab or SuperCrew configuration pickups that are powered by 2.7-liter EcoBoost, 5.0-liter V-8, or 3.5-liter EcoBoost engines.

The STX package for the F-150 slots between the XL and XLT trims and will feature 20-in. machined aluminum wheels with dark gray-painted pockets, black grille, body-color front fascia and front and rear bumpers, and Ford’s Sync 3 system with 8-in. center stack touch screen. Seats with lumbar support in black cloth with a flow-through console and steering-column shifter are also part of the package. Extra touches include privacy glass and fog lamps. The F-150 STX has a starting sticker price of $35,615.

The F-Series Super Duty with STX package is slightly different and starts at a list price of $34,910 for the F-250 and $36,080 for the F-350 STX. More chrome and unique badging are included in this package that is available on the XL trim level and powered by the 6.2-liter V-8 or the 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel. This styling group features a bright chrome grille and chrome front and rear bumpers, special aluminum wheels, cruise control on the steering wheel, and an AM/FM radio with a single CD/MP3 player.
