Ford Ranger Adds ARB Off-Road Hardware for Overlanding SEMA Concept

The Ford Performance off-road portfolio has never been stronger, with dedicated 4x4 options from the Ranger through the Super Duty. With SEMA Show 2023 underway, Ford has pulled the cover off of yet another potential off-roading option for its customers by way of the Ranger Ford Performance ORV Concept.

The Ford Performance ORV Concept Ranger previews parts that will be available in 2024
for both the XLT and Lariat trim levels. This build is based on an XLT model, backed by the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine. The ORV Package includes a suite of off-road hardware from the experts at ARB, including a suspension kit and lift. ARB also provides the truck with new bumpers front and rear for improved clearance, as well as new recovery points and an underbody skid plate for when things get tricky. Ford Performance also throws in a set of its 18-inch ORV wheels, as well as new sill plates that feature the brand’s logo.

This particular SEMA build is packed with a number of additional extras on offer from Ford Performance, which really help to complete the overlanding transformation. These include items such as an ARB fridge/freezer setup, ARB rock rail running boards, and an under-hood air compressor. More ARB hardware includes a set of SOLIS lights, as well as jack and bed mounting hardware. Some unique styling elements have also been pulled from the Ford catalog, such as a new tailgate applique and cab spoiler by Air Design. The finished product brings a serious tone from the moment you see it, thanks in no small part to the entirely new fascias brought by the bumpers. Add in a rooftop tent and some recovery gear and this thing looks ready to hit the trails.

Ford has not shared any pricing or availability details for the ORV Package, but you can expect that to come as soon as package content has been finalized. While this thing might not be as outright capable as a Raptor, the entry price of the XLT should make this new package a fairly appealing offering.
