Vladimir Rys
Prague native Vladimir Rys learned the ancient art of chemical photography as a teenager and joined the Czech daily Denik Sport in 1996. In 2002, he moved to Germany, and since 2005, he has concentrated on shooting the Formula 1 circus. Camden Thrasher
Camden Thrasher grew up in the Northwest and now makes his home in the Atlanta area.
With a degree in automotive engineering and a particularly keen sense of movement and light, he turned his eye to sports-car-racing photography. When not on the racing circuit, he will shoot almost anything with an engine that’s moving fast. Instagram:@camdenthrasher
Daylon Barr
Planted just south of NASCAR’s Daytona Beach home in Port Orange, Florida, Daylon Barr lives amid the stock-car-racing world. A native of upstate New York, he moved south to attend Coastal Carolina University, where he met Xfinity Series driver Brandon Brown. The two became roommates, and by 2016, Barr was the Brown family team’s photographer. His work has only expanded since. Instagram: @barrvisuals
Chris Owens
During his childhood in rural Indiana, Chris Owens was fascinated by collecting sports cards and found artistic expression in unlocking the potential of disposable cameras. Those passions came together in racing photography. He has been Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s track photographer since 2010 and is also now series shooter for IndyCar. Instagram: @chrisowens
