GMC Developing Super Cruise for Hands-Free Trailering

GM's Super Cruise is one of the most advanced driver assistance systems on the market today. For whatever reason, GM has only offered it on a limited selection of products thus far, mostly Cadillacs, but today GMC announced that it's coming to the Sierra Denali late in the 2022 model year.

GMC is developing Super Cruise to allow hands-free trailering on the 200,000-plus miles of road the system has mapped out. This will no doubt be great for those who tow long distances. Right now, Super Cruise is only available as a $2500 option for the Cadillac Escalade, with availability coming soon to the brand's CT4 and CT5 sedans and XT6 crossover.

New Haas F1 Driver Mazepin Posts Wildly Inappropriate Video

Russian driver Nikita Mazepin only just signed with the Haas Formula 1 team last week, and he's already in trouble. Motorsport.com reports that Mazepin posted, then quickly deleted, a video to his Instagram showing him groping a woman. Mazepin apologized in a statement, though not directly to the woman, and Haas condemned his actions.

"Haas F1 Team does not condone the behavior of Nikita Mazepin in the video recently posted on his social media. Additionally, the very fact the video was posted on social media is also abhorrent to Haas F1 Team."

This isn't the first time Mazepin has acted inappropriately. After a GP3 practice in 2016, Mazepin punched rival Calum Ilott in the face, which resulted in the Russian getting a one-race ban. Haas says it's dealing with this matter "internally" and wouldn't comment any further.

The 2022 Acura MDX Starts at $47,925

The fourth-generation Acura MDX debuted in near-production "prototype" form back in October, and yesterday, Acura showed off the production version and revealed specs and pricing.

A base front-wheel drive MDX will start at $47,925, with Acura's clever torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system a $2000 option. The top-of-the-line MDX AWD Advance Package will cost $61,775. The base engine is a 290-hp 3.5-liter V-6 carried over from the previous MDX, while a Type S version with a 355-hp 3.0-liter turbo V-6 is set to arrive next summer. The new MDX shares underpinnings with the great TLX sedan—including a unique double-wishbone front suspension—so it should be very nice to drive for a big crossover.
