Believe it or not, the strange car you see above, built by a Polish company called KHM Motors, is based off a mass-market sports car we all know and love. Can you guess which car? This might be tougher than you think.

We'll give you some hints. It's a car you can buy brand-new right now, with the engine in the front. The taillights are from a Mercedes-AMG GT-though the car is not a Mercedes. Any guesses? Here are some more pictures.

Still don't see it? Okay, here are some more hints. The engine is a 5.0-liter V8, and the transmission is a six-speed manual sending power to the rear wheels. Starting to sound familiar, right?

Yep, this thing started out life as a new Ford Mustang GT coupe. It sure as hell hides it well. The car, called the Warszawa M20 GT, uses the full drivetrain and most of the interior from its Mustang donor, but with new body panels and peculiar-looking fascias front and rear. KHM doesn't list exact power figures on its site, only that the engine will make "over 400 horsepower," right in line with the 460 you'll get in a 2018 Mustang GT.

According to Carscoops, some Chevy Camaro components appear on this car as well, which is pretty strange considering it started out as a Ford. Can you recognize any other OEM parts in this unusual machine? Let us know in the comments below.
