The 56-year-old John Wick star just posted the most stunning shot on Instagram, wearing a black string bikini as she lounged on some concrete steps.
She's known for being dedicated to her fitness, working out at least six times a week. Also: She learned Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, tae kwon do, and kickboxing for her role in Bruised!
Halle Berry is a total pro who can create a ~mood~ with a single pose. Well, get ready to be inspired, because she just dropped a bikini photo on Instagram thatâs pretty much everything.
In the pic, the 56-year-old actress is lounging on some concrete steps while working a black string bikini and animal print over top. Her super toned legs are crossed in front of her, and the âfit reveals a hint of her strong abs.
âSome women fear the fire; Some women simply become it ..â @r.h.sin,â she wrote in the caption. And naturally, people were all over it in the comments. âNothing better than being a woman at this point in our lives that knows we are fire. On Friday, Halle shared a video of herself doing a âsimple dumbbell workoutâ with her trainer, Peter Lee Thomas. âLet me tell you, it was an AB BURNER!â she said. The video showcases Halle doing a bunch of stretches before jumping rope and doing a series of squat jumps with dumbbells. She followed that up with boat poses and crunches (while holding dumbbells), burpees with jumping jacks, and more jump squatsâŠwhew!
In another workout video, Halle goes through another series of intense-looking moves under the direction of Thomas. Thereâs Halle doing crunches and squat jumps while wearing wrist weights with the help of a Bosu ball and, while the moves looked simple, she shared it was anything but. âThis wrist weight workout kicked my butt!! This circuit is just four simple exercises, but if you do high reps and at least five sets, itâs a fat-burning cardio blast!â
Halle previously told Womenâs Health that she trained intensely for her movie, Bruised, learning Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo, Muay Thai, tae kwon do, and kickboxing. Halle also shared that she works out six days a week and tries to listen to her body. If her back is sore, sheâll do stretching, Pilates, or yogaâshe just aims to move every day.
âItâs not easy,â she said. âBut I always remind myself why Iâm doing it. Since I had [kids] a little later in life, I want to be here for them. I want to live as long as I can and see my grandbabies.â
Halle, who has type 1 diabetes, also shared that she follows a low-carb, meat-based diet. Breakfast is usually Bulletproof coffee, almond milk, ghee, protein powder, and collagen. Around 2 p.m., sheâll have a lamb chop or rib eye with Brussels sprouts, green beans, spinach, beets, or homemade cauliflower rice. Dinner is usually a salad with protein.
