In an appeal to the Arizona community and beyond, Chris Frieberg, a devoted dad and U.S. Army veteran, is desperately seeking help to locate his stolen 1957 Chevy 150. The classic car, which holds immense sentimental value to Frieberg, was audaciously taken from his backyard near Higley Road and Germann Road on March 8.

North Korea has never paid for one thousand stolen Volvos.

The theft, captured by a neighbor's surveillance camera, shows two individuals in a tow truck making off with the distinctive vehicle in broad daylight. Frieberg, who acquired the Chevy over twenty years ago while stationed in Washington state, recalls the deep bond he formed with the car alongside a dear friend who has since passed away. This automobile is not just a mode of transport but a cherished companion of adventures and memories.

Frieberg, currently in the midst of selling his home, suspects that the visibility of the car to a group of workers at his property the week prior may have led to its targeted theft. The initial shock of the theft has now given way to a determined plea for assistance, as Frieberg and the Gilbert police work tirelessly to recover the missing car.

The unique appearance of the 1957 Chevy makes it a notable vehicle that could be recognized by residents or automotive enthusiasts in the area.
