A 1,000-HP Marvel that Rivals the Bugatti Veyron.

The automotive world has witnessed yet another engineering marvel, thanks to Hennessey Performance Engineering. The Texas-based tuning powerhouse has unleashed the H1000 package for the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, propelling this sporty sedan into a league with the likes of the Bugatti Veyron. The H1000 elevates the CT5-V Blackwing to an astonishing 1,000 horsepower and 966 pound-feet of torque, transforming it into a supercar-slayer in a four-door sedan's guise.

This rear-wheel-drive beast, optionally available with a manual transmission, posts rear-wheel horsepower figures of 841.66 and torque of 765.18 pound-feet, a significant jump from the stock model's 598.56 horsepower and 633.05 pound-feet. John Hennessey himself likens the H1000 to the four-door version of the Exorcist upgrade, which is a fitting comparison given its monstrous output.

The H1000 package isn't just about raw power; it's a comprehensive upgrade encompassing a high-flow supercharger, induction system, a more aggressive camshaft, ported cylinder heads, and a suite of supporting modifications to valves, lifters, and pushrods. An essential addition to this power boost is the oversized heat exchanger and enhanced cooling system, ensuring reliable performance under extreme conditions.

The package also includes sportier catalytic converters and long-tube headers, which not only aid performance but also enhance the V8's already thunderous soundtrack. Each H1000 CT5-V Blackwing is meticulously road-tested for up to 500 miles post-completion, ensuring perfection down to the last detail, including a serialized plaque in the engine bay and distinct Hennessey badging.

This powerhouse is more than just a fast car; it's an experience, with a top speed exceeding 205 mph and a zero to 60 time of just 3.5 seconds. In the quarter mile, it clocks an impressive 10.1 seconds. Despite these mind-boggling figures, the H1000 still manages a modest fuel efficiency, albeit lower than the EPA's estimate for the standard CT5-V Blackwing.

Hennessey's H1000 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing stands as a testament to the limitless possibilities in automotive performance, blending raw power with the elegance and functionality of a luxury sedan. It's a true game-changer, redefining what we expect from high-performance vehicles.
