Here's How You Jump A Truck 379 Feet Over A Ghost Town

From Road & Track

After numerous off-site tests and modifications done to his 900-horsepower Pro2 truck, Bryce Menzies went to a ghost town in New Mexico with a singular goal: To beat the world record for longest truck jump, most recently set by Tanner Foust five years ago.

During one of his final training runs, Menzies managed to set a new benchmark by jumping his truck 379.2 ft (115.6 m), besting the previous number by almost 50 feet. Unfortunately, Red Bull TV had to cancel its live show because Menzies crashed soon after his 379 ft run, destroying the truck and fracturing his shoulder.

No matter. They did it.
