This Hillclimb Car Is an Alfa Romeo 4C on PCP and Bath Salts

From Road & Track

A stock Alfa Romeo 4C is far from the most luxurious car on the road, but as long as you avoid large potholes and don't try to road trip it, it's not that uncomfortable. And unless you try to do a three-point road turn, you probably won't miss the power steering. Think of it like a Porsche Cayman for people who like their cars a little more raw.

But this Alfa Romeo 4C is not a regular 4C. No, it's something far more extreme. It's a car for someone who likes their cars completely unhinged.

The wing itself is big enough for a family of four to use as a dining room table, and it's attached to a diffuser that just as oversized. Oh, and only the carbon fiber tub is original. Most of the rest of the car is brand new, including parts of the bodywork that have been added to accommodate approximately 12 inches of added wheelbase.

Considering how insane this car is, you might assume the team got rid of the original 1.75-liter turbocharged engine in favor of something else. But no, it's still there. It's just longitudinally mounted now and makes 600 horsepower.

And that sound. Oh, that sound. It's, uh, maniacal? Just watch the video. You'll get what we mean.
