Buying a boat is a major expense. It also comes with a headache-inducing list of logistics to figure out: where to dock it, how to get it to the water, what to do with it in the winter. Those worries are a moot point with the Tiwal 3, a crazy-cool sailboat that can fit in the trunk of your car.

The 75-square-foot, 10.5-foot-long sailboat collapses down into two 60-pound bags when not in use. It can be transported in a small car and stored in your home or garage with no problem. When you want to take it on the water, it can be ready in 20 minutes: just inflate the hull, assemble the structure, and set the sail.

The boat can carry two adults or one adult and two children, with a total weight limit of 418 pounds. It sounds too good to be true, but it's already got a solid fan base. According to Tiwal, there are more than 900 Tiwal 3 boats currently in use, and it has won several prizes, including Boat of the Year from Sailing World in 2014. It is in the catalog of the New York Museum of Modern Art's MoMA Design Store, too. The museum said it was chosen in part because it was "so well designed for [its] function that a simple elegance of form is achieved."

At $5700 ($6195 through MoMA), it's not cheap, but it is far less expensive than a typical sailboat, and you won't have to worry about storage fees.
