When Ford announced its plans to use an application process to decide who would receive its first 500 Ford GT supercars, we assumed Jay Leno would no doubt make the exclusive list. Unsurprisingly, Leno got an allocation, and now it seems he's finally received his car.

Leno introduced his GT to the world via his YouTube channel last week during his latest "restoration blog" shop-walkaround video. Leno didn't go into detail about the car, but promises a full in-depth video is coming within the month.

Leno's car, painted black with orange dual racing stripes, looks eerily similar to the first GT to roll off the assembly line back in December. That car, which Automotive News reported would be used for marketing purposes, shares the same spec - down to the caliper and seat colors - with Leno's GT above.

Though it's possible Leno could've received the "job one" Ford GT, it's also just as likely that car could be a completely different, similarly specced GT.

Nevertheless, Leno has his GT, and according to the internet, he hasn't wasted any time getting into the driver's seat. Leno was spotted multiple times at last weekend's San Marino Motor Classic car show with the car, which you can see more of below.
