For over 25 years, Bob Sales served as a mechanic at Jay Leno's famous Big Dog Garage. Sadly, Sales recently passed away after a hard-fought battle with cancer. But he left behind quite the machine, and now Jay is making it his personal mission to find it a new home to help support the Sales family.

This car is a restomodded 1950 Plymouth Business Coupe. It was the last car Sales built before he died, and comes complete with a 425-horsepower 383 Chevy stroker engine, an automatic transmission, disc brakes, and air conditioning. Thanks to its limited time on the road, it looks virtually brand new.

Here, Leno takes the Plymouth for a drive, showing off its easy attitude and sweet V8 rumble. A stylish '50s coupe with modern drivability-what more can you want for a comfortable cruiser?

Leno is taking the sale of the car into his own hands, accepting bids at BobSalesCar@Gmail.com. All of the proceeds from the sale will go directly to Sales' wife and family.

If you're in the market for a modernized mid-century Plymouth two-door, and want to help out a family in need, we don't see any better way than this. It's just one more piece of proof that when you join the automotive hobby, you join a family.
