Everyone loves a lifted Jeep and for a while now, the brand's Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) imprint has offered lift kits. On Thursday, JPP announced a new two-inch lift kit for the current JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator pickup that comes with a very fancy set of Bilstein dampers. It carries an MSRP of $2095, it's on sale at Mopar's website right now for $1990.25.

In addition to the Bilsteins, the kit comes with springs, front lower control arms, end links, bumpstops, and all the required fasteners. But it's really the shocks that make this. They have remote reservoirs which allow for greater oil flow through the damper, and thus better performance in extreme conditions. The kit can also be user installed, and there's no drilling required.

Bolt this kit onto a Wrangler Rubicon and you'll have a truly impressive truck. Obviously, two inches isn't that big in the world of Jeep lifts—many companies offer six-inch lifts—but this bump in ground clearance combined with some very fancy dampers should make a huge difference in off-road performance. Ground clearance can only get you so far if your shocks overheat.

The kit is available for every Wrangler made from 2018 and every Gladiator from 2020. There are cheaper ways of getting your Jeep a little higher off the ground, and that's great if you just want something taller, but this kit should make a big difference where it really matters—the trail.
