Kate Beckinsale has been having some serious fashion ~moments~ lately, and she just hit up an event in what might be her coolest 'fit to date.

The 49-year-old actress went to the Fashion Trust Awards dressed in a sparkly naked dress with asymmetrical shoulders that, honestly, you have to see to get the full impact of. Kate looked super fit and toned all over as she completely worked it on the red carpet.

Kate shared video and photos from all angles from the night on Instagram, and it’s basically everything—including a shot of her cat Clive in a hoodie, looking like he’d rather be anywhere else. “Lovely to see exciting new designers celebrated and a room surprisingly full of love for a wet Tuesday night,” she wrote in the caption. “@scoutlaruewillis can sing her ASS off and everyone at our table cried . Thank you to #taniafares for a lovely inspiring night and to the besties @julienmacdonald and @gabrielagonzalezofficial for sparkly silver pretty girl amazing dress 💕💕.”

In each and every shot, Kate looks seriously strong—and there’s a reason for that. Kate works out regularly with Brad Siskind at Gunnar Peterson’s gym, and she previously told Women's Health that she hits the gym six times a week. While she’s there, she means business. “The whole hour is work,” Siskind said.

They do a lot of different moves during their workouts, including compound exercises (which work two muscle groups at the same time). That can mean doing things like bicep curls with a squat and sit-ups with combination punches, and she follows those moves up with 90 to 120-second intervals of rowing or the VersaClimber. She’ll do several rounds of those circuits and then finish up with another cardio interval, using a rubber Inertia Wave, or doing one-leg pushes on a curved Skillmill treadmill.

“I haven’t been injured while doing an action movie, and I think it’s partially from practicing yoga,” she told WH.

But for all of her fitness, Kate said it’s all about how working out makes her feel. “Exercise is almost more important to me moodwise,” she tells WH. “The other aspects feel like a great side effect.”
