A four-part documentary series about the lone season of Formula 1's Brawn GP has been dated for a November 15 premiere. The docuseries is hosted by Keanu Reeves and is set to premiere on Hulu in the United States.

The Reeves-hosted series promises perspectives from all of team principal Ross Brawn, lead driver Jenson Button, driver Rubens Barrichello, team CEO Nick Fry, and Red Bull boss Christian Horner. Promotional photos suggest that at least one of the three surviving Brawn GP cars was also around for filming. Both Brawn and Button own a chassis from the season, although Brawn's is the car that Button drove throughout the 2023 season.

Brawn GP's story starts with the late fall of Honda's factory racing program, which had already designed a car for the 2009 season before shutting its doors late in 2008. The program was sold to executive Ross Brawn for a ceremonial sum of one pound, opening the door for the team to run that 2009 car with Mercedes power and a white-and-yellow livery of their own. A brilliant "double diffuser" design then paved the way for one of the most unlikely seasons in the history of auto racing, one that ended in championships for both the team and lead driver Jenson Button. The team that acquired Brawn GP, the current Mercedes AMG F1, has gone on to win another seven constructors titles of its own in a very different form.

The show will be the latest to capitalize on the current worldwide popularity of both Formula 1 and streaming sports documentaries when it launches on Hulu next month. U.K. viewers can also catch the show on Disney+.
