Kevin Durant responds after Charles Barkley criticizes NBA superstar on '60 Minutes'

Former Auburn basketball standout Charles Barkley and NBA superstar Kevin Durant have gone back and forth before, and they did so once again.

"He's very sensitive," Barkley said during a segment featuring him Sunday on "60 Minutes." "Great player. He's part of that generation that thinks he can't be criticized. He's never looked in the mirror and said, 'Man, is that a fair criticism?' "

Durant responded quickly via Twitter: "This ain’t gettin tiring chuck? I’ll never respect the words that come out ya mouth fam just deal with it."

Barkley made headlines nearly a year ago after he said Durant was a "bus rider" for the back-to-back championships he won in 2017 and 2018 with the Golden State Warriors. Durant, who averaged 25.8 points per game over three seasons with Golden State, joined the Warriors after they won a league-record 73 regular-season games the year prior.

Durant later posted a picture of Barkley to his Instagram story with a caption that read "Where would chuck be without the big homies." Along with Barkley in the image were his Philadelphia 76ers teammates Moses Malone, Julius Erving, Maurice Cheeks and Andrew Toney.

Barkley, along with Malone, Erving and Cheeks, would all eventually be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame.
