Kevin Harvick is calling it a career at the end of the 2023 season.

The 47-year-old cinch NASCAR Hall of Famer announced today through Stewart-Haas Racing that the current season will be his swan song. Harvick is tied with Kyle Busch with 60 victories for ninth place on the Cup Series' all-time win list. Next on that list is Dale Earnhardt with 76.

Harvick won the Cup championship in 2014.

As much as for the wins and the titles, Harvick will go down as one of the sports iron men. He is on pace to make his 800th career Cup start at Talladega in April. Should he lead 99 laps this season (he led 117 in 2022), he will become one of just 11 drivers in Cup history to lead a staggering 16,000 laps.
