The Latest SCG 003C Looks Perfect In White

From Road & Track

Jim Glickenhaus doesn't need to sell any SCG 003s-he undertook the design and development of the car as a passion project, not a profit generator. But as he told us at the debut of the street-legal SCG 003CS, if he sells 20 of them, it will help fund his dream of racing in LMP1 at Le Mans. That's the big dream and the next challenge, as Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus has already completed the Nürburgring 24 twice with the SCG 003C.

To help boost those numbers, Glickenhaus announced a customer racing program, giving gentlemen drivers the opportunity to buy an SCG 003C with full technical support-including the services of a crew of up to 16 specialists taking care of everything.

The first of such cars, chassis No. 5, is here, ready for its debut race in Belgium on the 2nd and 3rd of September at the Zolder round of the DMV/GTC Sprint Series. This side of the business is run by a new company called Traum Motorsport, which can prepare your SCG 003C for races such as the Nurburgring's VLN championship, DMV/GTC races and the Dunlop 60 series, plus stand-alone events such as the Gulf 12 Hour race in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai 24 Hours, and other races forming part of the GT Open championship all over Europe.

Tempting? For sure! But if you need to ask how much, you can't afford it.
