Let This Video Convince You the Pagani Zonda Is the Best-Sounding Car Ever

From Road & Track

After quitting his job at Lamborghini to start his own carbon fiber company, Horacio Pagani set out to build his own carbon fiber supercar. In 1999, following seven years of development, it was finally ready. He called it the Pagani Zonda, and it stayed in production for more than a decade, finally bowing out in 2011.

The Zonda soon made a name for itself as an absolute track monster, as well as being a rolling work of art. But thanks to its AMG-sourced V12 engine, it also makes an incredible sound. In fact, it's arguably one of the best-sounding cars ever made.

As evidence, we present the below video. It's just over five minutes long, and all there is to hear is that glorious V12. There are definitely a few others, like the Lexus LFA and the Porsche Carrera GT, that give the Zonda a run for its money. But, boy does that car sound good.
