Apparently, Porsche Motorsport fit a new exhaust to its 911 RSR for this year's 24 Hours of Le Mans. It howls like no other 911 we've heard before it. Where previously, the RSR sounded a lot like the 911 GT3 street car, this is in a different league altogether.

Just listen to it drown out the Corvette C7.R in the first few seconds of this video. For anyone that's attended an IMSA race, this is astonishing because the C7.R is easily the loudest car on the grid. The various prototypes testing at Le Mans are nearly silent by comparison. You can only imagine what the RSR sounds like in person.

We're curious to see if this exhaust will make it to the RSRs racing in the US in the IMSA WeatherTech championship. Surely, it'd need to be muffled at certain tracks.

If anyone reading this goes to Le Mans this year, bring a decibel meter. This has to be the loudest car at the race.
