Listen to The Sound of This Monster Nissan Skyline Hillclimb Car

From Road & Track

Last weekend, the South Eastern Automobile Club hosted its famous Legend of the Lakes Hillclimb event on Mount Gambier in Australia. Among the many diverse entries was this modified Nissan Skyline, and boy is it loud.

The car is a heavily modified version of the famous Japan-market-only R32-generation Nissan Skyline GTS-T sports sedan. Unlike the higher-spec Skyline GT-R that uses an advanced all-wheel-drive system, the GTS-T gets the power to the ground with only its rear wheels. The end result in less overall traction but way more sideways fun.

This particular car's builder decided to swap in a bigger 2.5-liter straight six motor in place of the smaller, less powerful 2.0-liter unit. As you can hear in the video, it's also been heavily turbocharged, backfiring and sucking in air like there's no tomorrow.
