This Maserati MC12 With 50,000 Miles Is For Sale

From Road & Track

The Maserati MC12 is an extremely special car. Only 50 were ever sold to the public, each for around $1.5 million. It was Maserati's version of the Ferrari Enzo supercar, meant to be a flagship for the small, growing brand. This modified MC12 is for sale, and it has an astonishing 81,050 kilometers, or roughly 50,000 miles on the odometer.

Like the Enzo, the MC12 is equipped with the naturally aspirated 6.0-liter 620-horsepower V12 motor. This particular car has been modified by European firm Edo Compeition, which has bored and stroked the motor to 6.3 liters. According to the seller, this MC12 now makes no less than 840 horsepower, and 575 lb.-ft. of torque. That's more than even the hardcore track-only MC12 Corsa. Additionally, it features Corsa-spec body panels, along with upgraded carbon ceramic brakes.

The engine, along with a "modified" sequential transmission and racing clutch, propel the car to 125 mph in just nine seconds, according to the seller.

These cars don't come up for sale often, especially ones with this many miles on the clock. And with all of those sweet Corsa modifications, we think it's still probably a blast to drive.

Find it here listed on Hemmings, for $1,950,000, or best offer.
