Jonathan Ward is famous in the car world for building some truly outrageous restorations via his Icon 4x4 brand. But his side business, TLC, also makes some cool trucks. Instead of focusing on making vehicles the best they can possibly be, TLC aims to restore trucks to exactly how they came from the factory, in better than new condition.

This FJ62, the subject of Ward's latest video, is TLC's newest restoration. Unlike Ward's Icon projects, this FJ doesn't sport a V8 engine swap, big brakes, and a totally revamped suspension. Instead, it uses all OEM parts, restored, refinished, and rebuilt, down the the window switches and interior trim.

Things like the dampers and seat cushioning was replaced with modern alternatives for comfort, and Dynamat was added throughout the interior. But other than that stuff, this truck is totally factory. Ward claims this might be the cleanest, most perfect FJ on earth, and judging by the level of detail the TLC team went through, we're inclined to agree.
