You Must Buy This Exceedingly Wide-Bodied BMW M3
There are some weird cars for sale on the internet, but we think this might be one of the weirdest. It's an E36-generation BMW M3 convertible equipped with one of the most absurd wide-body kits imaginable, painted in orange with matching wheels and a huge rear wing. If you're looking for an attention-grabber on a budget, this is undoubtedly the car for you.
Even before looking at this M3's description, we can tell you it's a winner. The bright orange-painted squared-off panels stretch well beyond the stock car's body, creating some interesting inlets for the fuel tank filler and door handles. In fact, this car is so wide, it doesn't even fit inside the parking spot where these photos were taken. Note the drag car-style hood bulge and extended side mirrors.
The dished multi-piece color-matched wheels go nicely with the body, but leave a sizable gap in the wheel-wells. Nothing a lowering kit wouldn't fix, right?
The rear is equally outrageous, with fully custom taillights and a bumper with integrated dual exhaust exits.
Notice anything weird in the below picture? Well, unlike the rest of the images, the car in this picture is left-hand drive, with a backwards license plate. It seems the seller mirrored this image to trick potential buyers into thinking they're able to see both sides of the car. Curiously, we're never shown a clear picture of the left side. The Microsoft Paint-style watermarks definitely help, too.
In the short description, the seller notes a "Lotus White" interior, and that the car's been sitting in a garage for 15 years. It's currently listed for sale on eBay Motors in the United Kingdom for the low low Buy It Now price of £15,000, or around $19,859 at current exchange rates. Seems like a good deal to us.
