The NASCAR Cup Series ventures to the Midwest for the first time this season and returns to a 1.5-mile track for the first time in nearly two months.

Sunday's race at Kansas Speedway could be a boon to winless drivers Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr. and Brad Keselowski — three former Cup Series champions, who each have multiple victories at the track.

This season — with the new Next Gen car — has proved to be ultracompetitive in its early stages, with 10 different winners through the first 12 races. Only Hendrick Motorsports' William Byron and surprisingly, Ross Chastain of the upstart Trackhouse Racing, have won twice.
