While NASCAR has yet to release it's 2024 Cup Series schedule—yes, a full schedule release is already two weeks later than last year's announcement—a few more dates have been revealed.

On Thursday, NASCAR announced that the series will return to North Wilkesboro Speedway for the annual All-Star Race in 2024, and it will return to oval racing at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR All-Star Race will take place at North Wilkesboro Speedway as part of a doubleheader race weekend with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, May 18-19. That weekend will also include the annual Pit Crew Challenge on May 17. The Cup series raced at the 0.625-mile North Wilkesboro earlier this year for the first time since 1996.

The NASCAR Cup Series Brickyard 400 presented by PPG will take place on the Brickyard's oval course Sunday, July 21—one day after the NASCAR Xfinity Series Pennzoil 250 will take place on Saturday, July 20, NASCAR announced on its website.

As for the Brickyard, the 2024 race will mark the first time the Cup Series will hit the oval since 2020. Since then, NASCAR has raced annually on the IMS road course.

NASCAR's first Brickyard 400 at IMS was won by Jeff Gordon in 1994.
