Ford Drops Episode Two Of New Focus RS Documentary Series: Video

As you may recall, Block was enlisted to help fine tune the car’s all-wheel-drive system. He was also influential in developing the car’s industry-first Drift mode designed to help you achieve and maintain oversteer drifts. It’s part of the drive modes selector that varies dynamic systems such as the all-wheel-drive system, damper controls, electronic stability control, steering, engine responses, and exhaust sound.

Power in the Focus RS comes from a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine similar to the one fitted to the Mustang EcoBoost. The car has a peak output of 345 horsepower and 324 pound-feet of torque (347 lb-ft with overboost), which is enough for 0-62 mph acceleration in 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 165 mph.
