Talking Cars Episode 14: GM is on a roll

General Motors has been on a roll, with its top-scoring Chevrolet Impala and now Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck. The trend looks to continue, with our staff being quite impressed with the redesigned Corvette and Cadillac CTS. Director of Auto Testing Jake Fisher and Senior Engineers Gabe Shenhar and Tom Mutchler kick off the latest Talking Cars podcast by discussing the Corvette and dishing on the Dodge Viper, a high-powered nemesis that costs about twice as much.

Then the guys dig into the new CTS, complete with track video that speaks volumes. This new Cadillac shines bright in a very competitive segment. Our engineers declare the GM bean-counter era is over.

Listener feedback for this show focuses on pickup trucks, questioning where the Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra stack up against the recently tested Chevrolet Silverado and Ram 1500. The queries continue, centered on the Dodge Dart, Honda Odyssey, Infiniti Q50, and Toyota Prius. And Tom manages to bring up his Dodge Durango, yet again.
