Yamaha To Offer Free Sportbike Demos At Track-Days Across The Country

Want to get on some brand spanking new sportbikes from Yamaha? Well, in partnership with Yamaha Champions Riding School (YCRS), Yamaha will be offering free sporktbike demos to riders at select track-day events across the US.

The demos will feature the complete line of Yamaha sportbikes, including the all-new 2015 YZF-R1 and YZF-R3, as well as the YZF-R6, FZ-1, FZ-09 and FZ-07, according to a Yamaha press release.

The only draw back is you can't run a new Yamaha wide open, as the rides are paced laps behind YCRS instructors.

“YCRS was the obvious choice for Yamaha’s on-track sportbike demos,” said Martin Vivanco, Retail Sales Promotion Manager for Yamaha, in the release. “With their outstanding safety record, passion for Yamaha motorcycles and exceptional curriculum there is no better team to conduct on-track demos.”

“Yamaha wants riders to feel the bikes in the safest riding environment possible: A closed-course track. This is YCRS's domain and we're thrilled to have this program under our umbrella,” Nick Ienatsch, YCRS Senior Instructor, said in the statement.
