Nissan Marches Into L.A. with 2017 Rogue Stars Wars Limited Edition
This week, Nissan showed off a 2017 Rogue One Star Wars Limited Edition compact SUV at the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show. It may be the first production model to feature branded elements from the famous “Star Wars” film franchise.
The limited-edition Star Wars package has a sticker price of $1,990 and is only offered on the Rogue SV trim level with Sun and Touring package. Only 5,400 copies of this edition, offered in Darth Vader Black or Stormtrooper White, will be produced and available in the United States and Canada.
Each Rogue One SUV will have special badging and unique exterior gloss black treatments and interior appointments, such as Star Wars logos and crests and charcoal cloth seats plus panorama roof. These Rogue Ones will ride on 17-in. gloss-black alloy wheels, and each is numbered and comes with a full-size replica collectible Death Trooper helmet.
The original episode of the “Star Wars” film franchise debuted nearly 40 years ago. Reservations for the limited-edition Rogue can be made at www.NissanUSA.com.
For consumers attending the L.A. Auto Show (public days Nov. 18-27), Nissan has created an immersive "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" experience at the automaker’s display. Activities include a full-scale Tie Fighter replica; a Star Wars character-themed digital mirror experience; an Augmented Reality generator; and appearances by stormtroopers. A special gallery features costumes and model props used during production of the upcoming "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" movie.
