You Can Now Buy a Shiny New Mini Mark 1 Bodyshell

British Motor Heritage is a fantastic company producing parts as well as complete body shells for a whole range of former BMC products, including MGBs and MGB GTs, Austin-Healey Sprites and MG Midgets, as well as Minis from Mark IVs to Clubmans/1275 GTs. These replacement parts make restoration jobs and hot rod builds significantly easier, and their quality shines through what Frontline Developments can do with an MGB using them:

Minis were a lot different in 1976, featuring external door hinges, a smaller rear window and tiny taillights. But there's no need to worry, because using the original assembly jigs and the correct press dies, BMH will make its first 15 Mark 1 Mini bodies in April, priced at £9950 ($12,450). Yes, that's Mitsubishi Mirage money even before shipping, but it also allows you to go from this:
