We've already declared the Nissan Sentra SE-R one of the best forgotten performance cars of the 1990s. Why? It's one of the original quick economy cars. It's not fast, merely faster than a stock Sentra. But the SR20 engine combined with an ultra-light weight make the SE-R accessible fun at speeds that won't send you to jail.

The problem is finding one these days that doesn't have a billion miles on it or hasn't been thrashed into the ground. They've seemingly disappeared from the automotive landscape. Thankfully, Matt Farah found one for his latest One Take to remind us of just how great a lightweight coupe can be.

Granted, this one has nearly 250,000 miles on it, an engine that has been rebuilt a handful of times, and some suspension mods, but the magic is still there. The engine will rev to 7,500 RPM with no issues, it turns in quickly and eagerly, and it's just fun at regular speeds. Everyone should drive one.
