Take a Peek Inside Ferrari's VIP Garage

From Road & Track

If you don't need to check your balance to decide whether you can afford it or not, Ferrari's track experience programs might just be for you. The F1 Clienti side of the business was set up in 2003 under Luca di Montezemolo's watch, and it's exactly what it says on the tin. You pick your favorite Ferrari F1 car, and if it's older than 2 years, the factory can sell it to you for 1.2-2.5 million euros. Since only a handful of companies in the world can service these machines, most customers keep their cars right next to the factory in Maranello.

In case open-wheelers are not your thing, you can also choose between three XX cars, starting with the Enzo-based FXX from 2005. If that feels sluggish even in its Evoluzione spec, the 599 XX can be the ticket, or for a cool $2.7 million, the latest and greatest FXX K, based on the hybrid LaFerrari and built to be the most rewarding thing on four wheels. When 21 of these 1000+ horsepower cars hit the track, just throw away your ear plugs.

The lucky guy enjoying his new FXX K? American Chris Ruud, winner of multiple Ferrari Challenges and the man running the second (yellow) SCG 003C, Jim Glickenhaus' FIA-spec endurance racer.
