Performance and Driving Impressions
Performance and Driving Impressions Rating:
The Cayman has held a spot on our annual 10Best Cars list for more than a decade for good reason: It drives like a dream.
What’s New for 2018?
While we expect the 718 Cayman and Cayman S will perform the same as last year’s models, the new GTS makes 365 ponies and offers slightly more cornering grip for even more thrilling handling. The GTS also comes standard with performance gear such as a torque-vectoring system, a mechanical limited-slip differential, and an adaptive suspension, all of which is optional on lesser Caymans.
