Picking a "10 best liveries list" for just about any driver or team is impossible. Beauty, as everyone says, is in the eyes of the beholder.

But we've never let that stop us.

To that, and in honor of the Petty 75 celebration going on throughout the 2024 NASCAR season, here's 10 of our favorite liveries from the vast Petty Enterprises portfolio. Feel free to add some of your favorites in the comments section below.

1997 Kyle Petty Pontiac

Kyle’s No. 44 was a striking blue and white model with a look that benefited from its sponsor – Hot Wheels. A Hot Wheels “track” wrapped around the number on the sides of the car.

1960 Richard Petty Plymouth Fury

The white No. 43 stood out on the sides of a car that was easily visible on the track because of the wings on each side of the rear deck.

2019 Bubba Wallace Chevrolet

Wallace’s No. 43 Chevy had an unusual mix of colors for a Petty car—blue with green and white accents, spotlighting sponsorship by the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

1979 Kyle Petty Dodge Magnum

The blocky Magnum was a failure for Richard Petty in 1978, but Kyle found victory lane in the car in his first outing in an ARCA race at Daytona International Speedway in 1979. The car, known as the “blue falcon” because of its unique front-end design, was Petty blue over white.

1970 Richard Petty Plymouth Superbird

With its long nose and rear-deck wing thrusting high in the air, the aero-positive Superbird was one of the last cars to carry full Petty blue livery.

1975 Richard Petty Dodge Charger

When STP signed on as a Petty sponsor in 1972, the company’s bright red color joined Petty blue on virtually all of the King’s cars. The 1975 Charger, with red sides and red and blue hood and roof and a wicked-looking front end, is the most distinctive of those entries.
