The Polestar 1 Like You'll Never See It Again

You've been able to order a Polestar 1 since March, and rumor has it that Christian von Koenigsegg was so impressed with the package that he ordered one on the spot at the Geneva Motor Show. But the car wasn't finished. There's still a lot happening between that grand debut and its first trip to the dealerships, as Polestar is here to demonstrate.

During its first dynamic test above the Arctic Circle in Sweden, the Polestar 1 went 124 mph on snow and ice, testing different versions of Öhlins' shocks, springs and rubber bushings along the way, as well as anti-roll bars in twenty different sizes.

Naturally, this line of work involves no driver aids apart from the developers' hands and feet. Next up? The fine-tuning of the car's torque vectoring system.
