If the standard mid-engine 718 Cayman and Boxster just aren't flashy enough for you, Porsche now has a solution. There's a new sub-model called the Style Edition that, when optioned, adds a smattering of cosmetic upgrades to make sure you're easy to spot on the road.

The 718 Style Edition, unveiled Tuesday, is for "those who seek to stand out," according to Porsche. Based on the base 718 with the 300-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter turbocharged boxer-four, Style Editions get the 718 Spyder's 20-inch wheels as standard, along with sport tailpipes in black. Go for the drop-top Boxster, and you get the word "Boxster" embossed into the convertible top just above the side windows. Buyers will have a choice between a black or white sticker theme, which includes stripes on the hood and Porsche logos on the door. The paint you see on the Boxster shown here is Ruby Star Neo, a shade Porsche says is inspired by Ruby Star, a color used on the original 964 Carrera RS.

Style Edition upgrades don't stop once you get inside. The package also gets you a heated steering wheel, illuminated door sill plates, and a black leather interior with Chalk contrast stitching. In the center console you'll find a six-speed manual as standard, though a seven-speed PDK is available as an option. The 0-60 sprint happens in 4.9 seconds with the stick, or 4.5 seconds with the PDK. Top speed is 170 mph, regardless of transmission or body style.

Porsche says the 718 Style Edition will go on sale in Europe in 2023, with global deliveries beginning at an unspecified later date. Pricing has yet to be revealed, though we suspect it'll probably be a few grand more than the standard base 718, which starts at $63,400.
