Back in March of 2016, Kremer Racing revealed its custom-bodied Porsche 911 GT3 Cup, modeled after its 935 race car that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1979. During the announcement, Kremer promised a production version of the unique body conversion would also be coming. Now, it's here, and it looks seriously awesome.

The K3R is based on a 997-generation Porsche 911 Turbo, and uses the same unique aerodynamic conversion bodykit from the race-only Kremer car. Inspired by Group 5 regulation design, the car features a slant nose, huge squared-off fender flares, and a gigantic rear wing.

According to Kremer's website, the conversion also includes a customized Bilstein suspension, three-piece BBS wheels, and Michelin Cup 2 tires. Options include an 800-horsepower engine tune, roll cage, and racing seats.

YouTube user 100octanede caught the K3R competing at the Osnabrück Bergrennen hillclimb earlier this month, and it looks every bit as amazing as the track-exclusive variant. Take a look for yourself.
